Starting with 05.25.2018, EU Regulation no 679/2016 regarding protection of data subjects regarding personal data processing and free movement of this data, took effect.
Identification data subjects (name, surname, CNP, ID serial number, address, account, e-mail, date of birth, phone number, picture, etc.) is processed through automated/manual means based on a statement of consent.
Thus, in order to process fairly and transparently and in order to guarantee human dignity, legitimate interests and the fundamental rights of the individual, the data will be processed in accordance with the purpose stated in the consent.
The rights of the data subjects in accordance with the Regulation are:
- Right to information
- Right of access
- Right to intervention
- Right to veto
- Right to withdraw the consent any time, without affecting the legality of the processing done before withdrawing the consent.
- Right not to be submitted to an individual decision.
- Right to restriction
- Right to be forgotten
- Right to address the supervisory authority or the court.
If the data subjects refused to sign a consent, the provider/operator will deny concluding any contract, therefore will not provide the requested service. In accordance with the provisions or Regulation EU 679/2016 regarding protection of data subjects regarding personal data processing and free movement of this data, The Bucharest Transport Company STB SA has nominated a Data Protection Officer.
