Youth TB is a mobile application belonging to Bucharest Transport Company – STB SA, dedicated to all travelers, which allows the purchase of valid travel tickets on public surface transport in the Bucharest-Ilfov metropolitan area. This application also allows the purchase of travel tickets integrated with the railway operators on the Gara de Nord - Henri Coandă Airport route (they are not valid in the Metrorex network), without the need to hold a transport card.

Also, the application allows the purchase of metropolitan passes, with a reduced rate of 100% (pupils) and 50% (students) valid on all public surface transport lines in the Bucharest - Ilfov Region, regardless of the transport operator, as well as the purchase of travel tickets metropolitan and integrated at full price.

We specify that the Youth TB app allows the modification of the validity period of the passes only if the passes held have not already started their validity.

Through the Youth TB app, the following travel titles can be purchased:

Valid metropolitan bus, tram and trolleybus journeys and passes:

• 90 min metropolitan trip;
• 24 h metropolitan pass;
• 72 h metropolitan pass;
• 7 days metropolitan pass;
• 1 month metropolitan pass;
• 6 months metropolitan pass;
• 12 months metropolitan pass.

Integrated metropolitan and train passes, valid on bus, tram, trolleybus and train:

• 1 month integrated metropolitan pass surface transport + train;
• 6 months integrated metropolitan pass surface transport + train;
• 12 months integrated metropolitan pass surface transport + train.

The passes are valid for the surface and the train (they are not valid in the Metrorex network).

Pupils benefit from a pass with a 100% discount if they have the status of a pupil enrolled in an accredited educational unit in the Bucharest or Ilfov County.

Students benefit from a pass with a 50% discount if they are up to 26 years old and at the same time to attend a full time certified higher education unit in Bucharest or Ilfov County.

Confirmation of pupil or student status is done automatically through the application, based on the CNP filled in when registering the account.

Careful! All travel tickets must be purchased before boarding public transport.

To allow the control agents to check the validity of the travel document, you must ensure that the phone battery is sufficiently charged throughout the journey.
